    People see my jewelry and say “Oh, I want to do that! “. What they don’t realize and most people don’t, is that it takes a lot of specialized equipment and tools to even get started!  Months and months of disappointments, melted bezels, solder that refuses to flow, a polishing machine I still refer to as “the wheels of death”.  Fingernails that will never be painted again, smashed fingers etc.. It's rough! I am pretty much self taught.  My dad helped me get started , showed me the basics of soldering and a little about heat sinks and all about cutting and polishing the stones.  There are so many things I still want to learn how to do but God willing I will have time. It's dirty, dangerous, smelly, and loud, but I LOVE IT!
